At around 2.30 p.m. on Sunday in Kochi, the fourth Maradu apartment, Golden Kayaloramj, was razed down. Earlier at 11 a.m., the third apartment, Jain Coral Cove was brought down. Gokden Kayaloram was brought down slightly later than scheduled. The building came down in two slices. The anganwadi building nearby wasn't have damaged, however. Heavy winds blowing from the backwater transported the dust. All the four illegal flats that came up on the banks of Vembanad Lake, in violation of the Coastal Regulation Zone rules, were razed as ordered by the Supreme Court. Golden Kayaloram was the last one in the series. H2O Holy Faith and Alfa Serene were demolished on Saturday.
