Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to commission the second Kalvari class Submarine INS Khanderi in Mumbai on September 28. While speaking to ANI, Commanding Officer of INS Khanderi, Captain Dalbir Singh said, “It is the second submarine of Kalveri class. I am absolutely satisfied with the performance of this submarine.” “Results of all the trials of this submarine were better than we expected. It is a force-multiplier for us,” he added. The first of the class, INS Kalvari, was commissioned in December 2017.
